Bombay Bicycle Club open day two of Reading Festival on NME/Radio 1 stage

Bombay Bicycle Club kicked off sidereal day two the NME/Radio 1 Stage today (August 23).

The youthful north London four-piece played to a Reading Festival crowd eager to get dancing, and their energetic make of indie-pop didn't disappoint.

Despite having only released one single-proper, the band had large parts of the audience telling along to nearly all of their songs.

After porta with unreleased track 'What If', they launched into 'Ghost', from 2007's 'How Are We EP', with frontman Jack Steadman look relaxed as he sipped water in between vocalizing the song's lyrics.

The biggest cheer of the congeal came during 'How Are You', as the band were joined onstage by a friend dressed in a bear cat costume. While the band carried on playing the song regardless, the panda bear headbanged along, before linear offstage at the song's end.

Bombay Bicycle Club played:

'What If'

'Ghost'

'Open House'

'Evening/Morning'

'How Are You'

'Cancel On Me'

'The Hill'
